This was shipped and received promptly & as expected.
It was in brand new condition, as expected, & due to it being new blades & foil, my shaver shaves like it did when it was brand new. The color is different (gray instead of black) but that doesn't matter to me & does not affect performance.
I think it's a little too expensive for what it is but that won't affect my choice about whether to buy this again. I will buy it again & again as long as they're available while my shaver is still functioning mechanically because my only other choice is to spend a significantly larger amount of money for a new shaver.
If you have this shaver & have always liked how it shaved but it is not performing like it used to even though it's still functioning properly, & you haven't previously changed the foil & blades, I recommend you purchase this item to regain your shaver's original performance.
I've used this shaver for a few weeks. My beard is very coarse, so, please keep that in mind when reading this review. I shave every other day and this shaver does a decent job on my tough beard. As with most shavers, the biggest downside is shaving the neck. I go over it a few times with the shaver head. But, then have to go over it again with the trimmer attachment. Other than that, it's a decent shaver. Cleans up easy enough with soap and water. Charges quickly. Pretty quiet. If it lasts a few years, I guess it's worth the .
Modified for a woman's curves, the Quattro For Women razor still has all the sophisticated features of a man's razor adding up to one seriously serious shave.
Despite other reviewer comments, this was a perfect fit for an ES8092. The shaver was much quieter with the new blades and foil, as well as being more effective.
Every 4 - 5 years, I buy an electric razor, hoping that it will actually give me a good shave without irritation. So I try them for a week or two and then go back to Mr. Gillette. I have tried top-of-the-line Brauns (2) and a Panasonic, but never was able to get a decent shave around my jaw and neck. This Norelco actually gets the job done. It's not as close as a manual razor, but it's perfectly acceptable. It's not as irritating as previous electrics I've tried - or as irritating as my Gillette Fusion in tough-to-shave areas. I love the design. Foil razors never (excuse the pun) cut it for me. The Norelco's multi-directional rotary blades seem like the perfect design.

I got this for my 21st birthday, my 29th is coming up and after years of use its finally wearing out. To be honest, I did a terrible job cleaning it over the years but even so I could always count on it to charge and be ready for use for an extended period of time. The only drawback was it was difficult to shave some bikini areas resulting in some nicks, that is the only reason it gets 4 starts instead of 5. Sadly I need to replace it as I now use an alternate method for shaving my legs and it is weaker than when I first got it but I still use it for my armpits and bikini area.
Bought an ES8092 two years ago to replace a discontinued Pansonic model I dearly loved and was giving up the ghost. The ES8092 was as terrible, as bad, as the earlier model was good...very loud, slow (took twice as long to shave with mediocre results, and had to touch up with a blade). Even though I'd tried all the other major brands of shavers with less than stellar results, I was ready to say adios to Panasonic for good. Then I read some reviews of the model preceding the ES8164s and decided to give Panasonic one more chance. Settled on the updated model ( less expensive) and, wow, am I glad I did.
I've been using it for about two weeks now and love it. It is quieter than the ES8092, shaves much closer and faster, and the egronomics are far supierior. The handle is thiner/better shaped and the rubberized material is tackier when wet, making it much easier to hold in the shower. Rather than a "christmas tree countdown" set of lights to indicate remaining charge, it has an easy-to-read liquid crystal readout with an orange backlight that gives the per centage of remaining charge. I got 7 shaves on the first charge (I shave in the shower and admittedly linger a bit). Unlike the ES8092, it is not induction charged. Instead you plug into the bottom of the shaver to recharge rather than placing it on a stand (a small add on stand comes with it, as does a soft, zippered, vinyl, travel case, which is a step up from the 8092's cloth pouch and draw string). My last two Panasonics were induction charged and I had my doubts about non-induction charging, but I'm very satisfied with this method; even more so since I travel a lot and the charging cord is smaller and lighter than an induction charging stand to pack. Cleanup is a snap: pour a couple of drops of liquid soap on the shaving head and hold the on button until the ultra high speed mode kicks in. Rinse and you're done... all in thirty seconds and far less expensive than a large footprint cleaning/charging stand that takes up space on the bathroom counter.
While I highly recommend this shaver, there are a few caveats to be aware of. It is possible to cut yourself while shaving--I've done it already. No rash to report as some people experience, but then I've been using a wet/dry panasonic for about 5 years now, so my face is accustomed to it. Be sure when replacing the head cover that it is securely snapped into place. It's very easy to think it's on securely when it isn't. The travel pouch is only big enough to hold the shaver. Charging cord has to be packed separately. Replacement blades and foils are pricey, but then it also shaves a whole lot better than other models.
All in all I consider this the best electric shaver I'ver ever used (have used Braun, Norelco, and Remington previously). The shave is razor blade close if used wet with shave cream or gel. Throat hairs are the trickiest and the 8164s does an excellent job, but I admit I don't always get every one of them, so sometimes I'll still take one or two strokes with a safety razon, but only sometimes. The pop up trimmer is somewhat smaller than the one on the 8092, but it actually trims sideburns, unlike the functionless one on the 8092.
0 delivered seems like a bargain for this is exceptionally fine shaver, especially considering I forked out 5 a couple of years ago for a crappy ES8092. I'm more than happy with my purchase and would recommend this shaver to anyone. (And, no, I don't work for Panasonic or hold stock in the company.)

I bought the Norelco 8270 [...]. I chose this model because it came with a travel pouch (which I'm glad I got) and a battery level indicator light (which I'm VERY glad I got). It's been a good shaver so far. I'm currently on the third re-charge cycle, without a problem. The info packets said each charge would provide 17 shaves. I've averaged about 5 more than that, but I don't use it for as many minutes per shave as was assumed in those calculations, so Norelco is probably pretty close in their estimates. And the battery level lights work well, giving you plenty of warning before the shaver runs out of charge.
The sideburn trimmer is absolutely worthless, however, so if you're picky or have bushy burns, plan on trimming them some other way. I still have an old plug-in Norelco I bought 30 years ago that not only does a great job trimming sideburns, but is great for trimming my moustache as well. Not this shaver. All this trimmer does is pull hair.
The only other weakness I've noticed is that this model doesn't give you a really close shave--you have to keep going over the same area again and again if you want to feel just skin and no stubble, and there is no adjustable head feature. And I haven't used the water-wash feature; I just use the little brush and a compressed air can (for cleaning computers) to blow out the heads.
All in all, it's a good shaver. I think it's a bit pricey for what it delivers, but we're obviously a far cry from my old $[...] Norelco plug-in that gave me a much closer shave and lasted me 30 years. Aah, for the old days...
I originally got the Intuition razor as a free sample with some other beauty products at a popular shopping event (that gave us all "goodie bags"). I was skeptical, and wasn't sure I liked the shape of the handle, or that I'd like the moisturizing soap product attached.
However! I must say, I really do love my Intuition razor! These refills are a good value and I use the subscription service so I don't have to think about it, they just send me more right around the time I know I'd be running low! The moisturizing solid on the head of the razor really saves me time (no more having to keep lathering up, or using shaving cream or gel), and I never seem to nick myself! Nice smooth and quickly executed shave every time! I'm not sure I see a huge difference in the shaving process, but I have to admit, I would sometimes get dry skin after shaving, and now I never do! The "Advanced Moisture" seems to be working! The scent is light and I have pretty sensitive skin and I've seen no bad reactions to anything in this product. Each refill has it's own little plastic case so you can stack them up out of the way in a cabinet or drawer, without worry that the soap/moisturizer product will get on anything or break apart.
Save money! If you like/love the Intuition... Get this multi-pack!
I've had a top of the line Braun 8000 series (8595) for about 6+ years. It just started to fail recently - I didn't feel like trying another replacement foil/blade and after over 2,000 shaves - I guess it's hard to complain. If this new one lasts the same duration, then it will be well worth the money for just over {BestCustomerReview}.12 per day plus consumables (cleaning solution & replacement foils).
I opened this new shaver morning (790-CC4), charged it, and started using it. I like the variable setting (3-steps) for mild to intense. I like the feel of it and although the display is less sophisticated than my old one, this one might be more practical in usage. It has a Li-Ion battery and so is a bit lighter, and seems well-constructed.
The real test is the shave - and this is the best result I've ever had from shaving with an electric. On rare occasions I'll use a blade for a special occasion and a blade is usually much closer than most electrics - but I've been okay with a slight sacrifice using an electric in the past. My face right now feels so shockingly smooth, I'd swear I shaved with a blade this morning... So the proof is in the pudding - and I'd wholeheartedly recommend this shaver if you're partial to electrics.
